Second shooting is such a valuable part of wedding photography. It gives me the chance to capture a wedding day from another perspective, document the in-between moments, and contribute to the story of a couple’s day alongside another amazing photographer!
On July 4, 2026, I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding alongside Kara Beth House Photography at Ridge Point Venue in Alpine, Alabama.
There’s something special about getting to document a wedding day from a different perspective. As a second photographer, I get to focus on the candid interactions, little details, and in-between moments that help tell the story of the day beyond the main events.
Since I was second shooting for Kara Beth House Photography, this post features a handful of my favorite highlights from the wedding rather than a full wedding gallery. I wasn’t there to photograph every part of the celebration, but I’m excited to share some of the moments I captured throughout the day.
I’m so thankful to Kara Beth House Photography for having me along to be part of this wedding! Opportunities to work alongside other photographers are always such a meaningful part of growing as a photographer and documenting these special seasons in people's lives.
*This wedding was photographed while second shooting for Kara Beth House Photography. The images featured in this post were captured by me in my role as the second photographer.
